Pink Tabebuia Trees Planted on Jalan Pelabuhan Ratu

North Jakarta Administration keeps intensifying the greening. As many as 10 Pink Tabebuia trees were planted on Jalan Pelabuhan Ratu, RW 11, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-district.

North Jakarta City Secretary's Economy and Development Assistant, Wawan Budi Rohman said the planting aimed to increase the greening, improving air quality, and water absorption.

Tabebuya Trees Make Sambas Park Greener

"Today's planting is part of Friday Planting program. North Jakarta Administration also plans to plant trees routinely in every sub-district," he said, Friday (2/7).

He appealed the related Regional Working Units and residents to plant during rainy season since the challenges will be more higher during dry season.

Meanwhile, North Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Christian Tamora Hutagalung explained the Friday Planting is run routinely in every sub-district.

"Today we planted 10 Pink Tabebuia trees with two until three meter of height," he explained.

He continued that 200 trees have been planted during January 2025 on an opened or empty land.

"The trees we're planted will grow more than seven meters. It is good for greening, water absorption, and air pollution absorption," he continued.

The planting involved 30 personnel of urban village, sub-district, Green Taskforce, and Transportation Sub-agency.

"We'll plant 700 trees in 100 days," he stated.
